Press Release Body = (Baltimore, MD) January 17, 2006 - ADHD. These four letters
often cause panic. But one ADHD Mom with four ADHD kids has turned her children\'s
special needs into a trusted summer camp guide for other parents.

Sara Patterson is a self-described "camp-a-holic" and mother of eight, including
four adopted children and four with ADD/ADHD. So when it was her turn to find summer
camps for her socially awkward, high-energy children, she didn't know where to turn.

"My husband is a pediatrician so we always had the latest information on treatments
for children with ADHD, but every camp was geared toward adventurous, popular,
confident kids who enjoyed overnight camps. That didn't work for my kids."

So Patterson began ruthlessly researching hundreds of camps all across the country.
She interviewed camp directors, personally visited over 200 hundred camps and sent
her kids to 60 camps.

Now Patterson has begun sharing her collective wisdom at Best-Summer-Camps.com to
make choosing the perfect summer camp "as enjoyable as eating S'mores by the
campfire."

Why does this matter so much to Patterson? "Camps have provided our kids with
confidence, lasting memories and experiences they can't always get with a gaggle of
brothers and sisters around."

Last fall, Patterson surveyed over 900 parents to identify the Best Camps for 2006
and provide 10 Tips to Choose the Perfect Summer Camp. Among her recommendations:
look for small, personalized camps with an experienced staff who get to know your
children before camp. And don't forget to take advantage of the camp director's
insight into your kids after camp.
